RDIF to invest up to 300 mln rbl in AI high-tech healthcare firms
MOSCOW, May 30 (PRIME) -- The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) has agreed upon the main conditions of investing 100 million rubles in Oncobox, a designer of solutions to diagnose cancer with artificial intelligence (AI), and up to 200 million rubles in Motorica, a producer of AI prostheses, the fund said on Thursday.
Oncobox is working on a platform that will carry out molecular diagnosis of oncology on various stages. Instantly processing big data about a patient, AI defines optimal medications and effective means of treatment.
The fund’s deal with Motorica is done within mechanism Investment Lift to speed up development of medium-sized non-energy companies with export potential.
